Staff Prerequisites
Thank you for your interest in our school!
All staff must:

Be committed to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ.
- Be involved in a local church.
- Hold a four-year degree, verified by transcript. Additional training is highly desirable.
- Hold a valid teaching certificate for the position for which application is made.
- Have a minimum of two years' successful teaching experience.
- A minimum of nine (9) quarter hours or six (6) semester hours of Bible and/or theology, verified
by transcript, is required prior to acceptance for career teachers.
- Love kids and have a “team player” mentality.
- Agree to serve at ECA a minimum of one school year.
- Career teachers must affiliate with a mission agency with whom ECA partners.

**While we desire that all of our staff have a valid teaching credential, the Executive Committee
may make exceptions to the above requirements after careful review on an individual basis. Please
contact the school for further detail.
