The purpose of the ECA Bible department is to provide a systematic study of the Bible, including training and application to daily life, in an environment open to questions and discussion, so that the student may become thoroughly equipped in the Word of Truth (II Timothy 3:14-17)
The Bible program at ECA is designed to teach about God through the truth of His Word and to provide opportunities to apply the information learned in practical, real-life situations. The foundations for application are laid through Scripture memory, and a chronological and topical study of the Bible. We want students to learn and to grow in their love for God and His Word.
In this rapidly changing world, we want to provide opportunities in the classroom for students to learn how to think critically, express their ideas, and evaluate all that they experience through the Bible, the filter of truth, and not through the world's current philosophy.
Bible is a required course for all students while in attendance at ECA.
