In a word: hyperactive. In two words: kinda weird. In a sentence: Believe it or not, they have a shy side. Though they appear to be wild and a little fidgety, they are not quite sure of themselves. It's a hard life, being in middle school. It is full change, trials, and according to the psychology students, it is defined by Paiget's period of formal operations. In more normal terms, they are questioning what they are taught; they are learning to think abstractly; they are changing into young adults. This is the eighth grade.
