One of the unique characteristics about ECA is that the small class size allows for teachers to personally know each of the students and help him or her grow in our four core values. As a staff, we pray together for each of our students by name on a weekly basis and deeply care about them as a whole person. Our desire is not only that students would have a positive experience, but also that they would be well equipped academically, socially, and spiritually for the next journey of their lives.
We asked students at Evangelical Christian Academy to share some of their favorite aspects about studying at our school.
“I like how much the teachers care about the students and how much the staff loves God. The student body feels like family.” — Lydia, 10th grade
“You can talk to the teachers about anything, and they know how to help and how to approach it based on you and your personality.” — Abigail, 7th grade
“The teachers are so caring and supportive, and how they teach is excellent.” — Adeline, 7th grade
“I love how we have such loving and wise teachers. I also like how everything is based on Christ and is biblically based. The teachers also provide a lot of encouragement for the students to learn, and they find a fun way to teach.” — Hesou, 9th grade
When asked what they would tell prospective students about attending ECA, they shared:
“People here are so warm and kind. They make you feel welcomed as soon as you enter the front door.” — Alicia, 8th grade
“You get a great education by great teachers that truly love their job and love seeing you succeed spiritually and academically.” — Ruth, 12th grade
