One of our four core values at ECA is being “service-driven.” We want to reflect Christ by serving and loving others.
In addition to requiring that our high-school students invest twenty hours in community service each year, we believe it’s important to reach out together as a school to bless others. In 2016, we began what we call “Flipped Service Days”—flipping our chapel schedule to finish the day two hours early and using the extra time to be part of a service project. Students have the chance to choose their project and participate in areas which best match their gifts.
