2023 is a big year in the history of Evangelical Christian Academy. It marks 50 years of God faithfully sustaining the school through the decades with the vision of equipping and inspiring students both academically and spiritually to make an impact on the world for Christ. ECA’s primary mission is to serve our families and equip students in the academic disciplines, challenge them to love God, apply his truth, and care for others.
We look forward to celebrating this milestone together, both to recognize and praise the Lord for His goodness and mercy, and also to take the time to pause and reflect on the people and events who have shaped the hundreds of students who have walked through ECA’s halls. From beginning during the time of Franco’s dictatorship, to a vibrant three story house in Madrid that served our students for many years, to a beautiful building in Camarma already celebrating 20 years, God has brought ECA through many joys and challenges. God hand-picked teachers, staff members, and administrators who gave of their time, their finances, and their very lives to invest in students. Each of their contributions, whether for a single semester or for 40 years, built upon the work and legacy of the people before them, carrying ECA through the decades. We look forward to several special events on March 30th and 31st, 2023, when we will celebrate as a school along with former staff members and alumni.
